SpaceX Looks to Mars

SpaceX Chief Sets His Sights on Mars

Very exciting news in the space exploration business. Just because the shuttle missions are ending, does not mean an end to space travel and exploration, especially for humans. SpaceX going to Mars would be an extremely worthwhile mission. Great Q and A with the founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, in this article. He thinks if all goes well, we might be able to send humans to Mars in the next 10-20 years! Nothing ever goes as quickly as planned, but this is far quicker than it seemed we could get there with NASA. The Dragon Capsule has already orbited earth successfully and will be docking with the international space station before too long. I get totally excited when I see people with this kind of money doing amazing things to progress human civilization. This is what I would do if I were a billionaire also.
